"This grief and pain weren’t at my door, they were at our door. And that made all the difference...The pain and confusion I felt had dissolved as I stood in loving community with my siblings." AMEN to that, seventy times seven times!!!!
A gift to see resilience in action and choosing to respond with each other versus reacting outwardly with the same energy in return. Hopefully they won't return with seeing how futile the attempt was. Thanks for sharing the story! 😎 🤘🏽
“This is the healing of pain, the quieting of fear. Forgiveness. Joy. Beauty.” Abi, you have expressed so beautifully how this past weekend unfolded. When my daughter-in-law first asked me how I was feeling right then, right after my wife and I had shared the news of the vandalism with her and my daughter, I really wasn’t sure how I felt. But as the day of community unfolded and we got back together on Sunday, I began to feel that healing that you so eloquently captured. Thank you so very much for your wonderful words.

We've got a pretty special community here, and this experience solidified that for me in a way I didn't know was possible. Glad to be in it with you!
Grief and pain weren’t at my door, they were at our door 💗💗 so beautiful - and the mural looks amazing!
Thank you so much!!!
That is incredibly beautiful. The mural and the story.
Aw, thank you so much! We're all really proud of how it turned out!

You know what? Even if they do, they'll be met with the same love as this time. Their bad actions only make our love shine brighter!

You're so welcome, Kevin. I'm so glad to have found LitC and it seems like everything that happens just makes me even more grateful!
